Black Friday Vs Cyber Monday

Hello darlings, 

Well, it's that time of the month...again; it's Thanksgiving! And I'm truly thankful for everything! But what's after Thanksgiving? Yep, that's right, Black Friday [duh duh dahhh].

Black Friday is that day that you REALLY want avoid, if the pushing, shoving, and 'every man for themselves' isn't your thing, stay at home!

But my favorite is Cyber Monday. Cyber Monday is a day that you shop online from home and or work.

Product Review: NYC New York Color Individual Eyes Custom Compact

Hello darlings, I'm here again to do another product review. I'm reviewing the NYC New York Color Individual Eyes Custom Compact in Dark Shadows. I received this compact from the Beauty Blogger VoxBox 2012 early October, others received a different shade of the compact. I love the colors and they're highly pigmented to me. It comes in 4 colors [all over lid base, 2 creases colors and a highlighter], primer base, and a illuminator.

Product Review: Bath and Body Works Mini Candle

Hello darlings, I'm here to do a product review on the bath and body works mini candle in Mahogany Teakwood. I received this candle from the Beauty Blogger VoxBox 2012 from Influenster early October and I'm finally testing it out! The mini candles from bath and body works are $3.50 and for 2 are $5.00, they have other sizes and scents as well. The scent is mahogany, cedar wood, and oak with delicate lavender and geranium notes.

How to Grow Out Your Hair Fast Naturally

Here are some tips and tricks on growing out your hair naturally. These tips and tricks are from personal experience, and they are for all types of hair textures and races as well.

1) Make sure you are getting enough protein and water. Hair consists of protein, so eating lots of nuts, poultry, grains, and eggs will contribute to healthy hair that will grow faster. Also, get eight (8) glasses of water a day.

2) Take a daily vitamin supplement to make hair grow faster and healthier. Some vitamins and minerals that are believed to contribute to hair growth are: biotin, beta-carotene, biosil, B complexes, magnesium, sulfur, zinc, silica, nettle and flaxseed oil. Biotin and MSM are the best ingredients for promoting hair growth.

3) Scalp massages will encourage the blood to flow and make hair grow faster.

4) Avoid over brushing, processing, dyeing, perming, and putting too much heat will damaged your hair and cause it to break off. You can use heat protected, you buy it everywhere :)

5) Don't wash your hair every day. The natural oils produced in your scalp keeps the hair healthy and make it grow faster.

6) Keep your hair protected from the environmental damage such as UVA and UVB rays from the sun. Cover your hair with a hat or scarf when you are exposed in the sun. Also, avoid over-styling your hair in ponytails, braids, buns, and cornrows. These types of styles can cause the stress to the scalp and hair; keeps the hair from growing.

7) Use a deep conditioning treatment ONCE a week and massage it deep into the scalp. This will stimulate hair growth by increasing blood flow and prevent hair breakage.

For Ethnic Hair:

When you're about to go to bed, always wrapped up your hair with a silk or satin head wrap, you can purchase them from your local Sally Beauty Store.

Always keep your hair moisturized.
Use natural oils ie castor, olive, jojoba, coconut & Jamaican black castor oil.

Be careful with chemicals (i.e relaxers)

Here are my top 5 clothing stores that I really love both online and in-store and why they're on my top 5 list.

#1: Charlotte Russe - I've been a customer to theirs since early 2007 and I love their items. They're worldwide and their size chart goes to 0 to 13.

#2: Go Jane - I also been a customer of theirs for the longest, they're also worldwide and their size chart also goes to 0 to 13.

#3: Pink Ice - My sister introduced me to this site a few months ago and I'm already in love with their items. They're inexpensive, they're worldwide and their size chart also goes to 0 to 15.

#4: Modaxpress Online - One of my friends introduced me to this site and I also in love with it. Sadly, they're not worldwide and they don't have a store yet. But, their size chart goes to 0 to 15.

And #5: Get Heavenly - My sister also introduced me to this site a few months ago and their clothes are adorable and affordable! They have a local store and I don't think if they're worldwide. Their size chart goes to 0 to 13.

Now, you've noticed that big top clothing stores aren't on my list. Like Forever 21, Topshop, Agaci, and Wet Seal and etc, and I'm going to explain why. Some stores size by the waist and not the hips or the hips not by the waist, since I'm a size 13/15, I want to be size by both of my waist and hips and that's why.
